So amazing! Very satisfying. I got the island fire chicken. It got a kick to it but not to spicy, and lots of flavor. I ordered from the mini menu and it was PLENTY. Maybe not quite enough rice though. I definitely recommend it.
There’s no other BBQ I’d recommend. Hawaiian BBQ hits different. Warms my heart on every bite. Thank you Ono for the great memories growing up. It’s a 10!
You really can't go wrong here. Portions are very decent, food moist and consistent all the time. What sets this place aside from the other Hawaiian BBQ places we have been to is that their side includes steam veggies, not just dry uncooked garnishment like the other places so you eat everything
Such good food, and major portions! Tim and I ate out fill and took some home. Rarely do we ask for to go boxes. Clean dining room, friendly staff, and wonderful food! I wore my new boho dress so you can't see if I drop food on it!
Every time I come in the food is delicious. The treatment from the staff and the cleanliness is on point. This is one of the reasons I continue to go back is everybody and everything is perfect there.
I don’t typically go for fast food, but I’m so glad I stopped at Ono Hawaiian! I ordered the grilled chicken teriyaki, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The flavor was fantastic—perfectly grilled, tender, and loaded with that sweet, savory teriyaki sauce. The portions were generous and satisfying, and every bite was delicious. On top of that, the service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for something quick that doesn’t compromise on quality or taste, this place is a winner. I’ll definitely be back!
I am a 67-year-old male. I don't work out, but I take my diet very seriously. I eat at Ono Hawaiian BBQ at least four time a week and my meal of choice is the BBQ Chicken Aloha Plate. It comes with a generous portion of fresh raw greens (the main part of the plate to me). I order it with no salad dressing. As a special bonus, you get a good portion of perfectly cooked, fluffy white rice and deliciously marinated grilled chicken. I tried the other Hawiian BBQ places. They have a much larger selection of food, but they haven't perfected anything. Ono serves good, clean food consistently. The Aloha Plate pairs well with coconut water.
The drive thru isn't open yet and there is minimal parking, but the food is great! Similar to L&L Hawaiian BBQ, you can ask to customize plates if you like more macaroni salad than rice. I always get both sauces on the side because they are so tasty (:
